    Us Talbot girls pride ourselves on our fast-paced, busy lifestyles.  Sometimes it amazes us how much we can pack into a day, a skill we’ve always found beneficial to juggle our work, our families and friendships.  However this type of lifestyle can definitely take its toll.  AJ started seeing a naturopath last year to start working on holistic measures to improve her overall health and wellbeing, because we all need a little TLC once in a while!  One of the terms which was brought up during her sessions was “Adrenal Fatigue”.  For those of you who are totally unfamiliar with this term…don’t worry, so were we.

  • RAW FOOD DIET FOR THE WEEK!?

    Here at Talbot HQ we welcome implementing new and innovative ways to live by the look good / feel geed ethos. With the return of a dear friend, who also happens to be a phenomenal chef (#winning), the Talbot chicas have agreed to embark on a raw food diet for the week.

    Why go raw? We are interested in the benefits of this diet change. Welcoming the experience and being open minded to a movement that supports consuming living enzymes (i.e. raw food) which can help conserve the body’s energy, reduce disease-causing stress and support a healthier digestive system.

  • HAPPINESS IN THE FORM OF A MELON

    The Talbot team are not new to the practice of yoga. Having practiced together for many years (lets face it we do everything together) we have come to love and cherish our time on the mat for many delicious reasons. A few days ago we were lucky enough to be invited to the launch of mind and body studio Happy Melon. Offering yoga, pilates, meditation and group fitness we have signed up to a week of TLC, hot tea and what we found to be the best way to start the day. Having practiced yoga with Marsha in the past we were beyond excited to learn that she teaches at the studio. Through play, laughter and letting go, our morning yoga at Happy Melon has left us wanting more.  A little shout out of gratitude for creating a space that focuses on:

    As I sit in Bali tucking into yet another delectable meal I begin to wonder about the idea of clean eating. I am away. A work trip, surrounded by the unbelievable cuisine that Bali offers. AJ’s wants and desires to try the polenta chips are vocalised. I would normally shy away from this sort of dish. Chips ordered, the conversation then turns to the topic of clean eating and healthy choices…

    You are what you eat. On that day, I was oh so happy to be the delicious polenta chips as found at Sisterfields in Bali.
